Join us for the 2026 Roland E. Brandel Lifetime Achievement Award Luncheon, Business Law's premier event of the year, held at the CLA 2026 Annual Meeting.

This year's luncheon will feature a special keynote presentation by Professor Jiaqi Ma, Director of the Mobility Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles. Professor Ma will be presenting "AI Behind the Wheel: Autonomous Vehicles, Business Transformation, and the Law's Next Challenge," exploring how autonomous vehicles are revolutionizing transportation, business models, job markets, and legal risks. His presentation will dive into the current state of the industry, potential future developments, and the necessary adaptations in business law to address safety, liability, data, insurance, and regulatory challenges.


The luncheon will also celebrate the presentation of this year's Roland E. Brandel Lifetime Achievement Award, honoring an outstanding member of the Business Law community whose contributions have left a lasting impact on the profession.
